[Review] A Fellowship of Librarians & Dragons (Deluxe Edition) by J. Penner

A delightful continuation in the Adenashire series. Warm and cozy. Sweet, tender, emotional, and quirky. This book has a fast-paced plot with enough hijinks and shenanigans to keep readers thoroughly engaged.

The characters are a joy—very human (even when they aren't). They are well developed, each with their own distinct personalities. I adored the baby dragon! And the man character, Doli, felt particularly relevant to me. She is a people pleaser, which has always been an Achilles's heel for me. But this book teaches us how to let go of the pressure to constantly cater to other's needs and instead make room for ourselves and our own needs. It's all about the balance.

Great characters, fun plot, and uplifting subtext. This book left me smiling and ready for more Adenashire adventures!

Note: I received this book as an ARC. This new, deluxe version is scheduled to be released June 3, 2025.
