I love the aesthetics on this one—everything from the page layout and colors to the font and illustrations. Such a gorgeous treasure.

And this book is packed with information—more thorough than other herbalism books I've come across. For example, one thing that really stood out was the formula for proper dosing based on an individual's weight. And even having the book divided into seasons, based on the season the herbs are harvested is novel and intuitive. It takes the guesswork out of figuring out when to harvest what.

Then there are the recipes. They are precise and easy to follow. And I particularly like the brief description at the top of each recipe, which gives a clear understanding of the recipe's use.

Visually appealing, inspirational, and thoroughly educational. A great reference for the home herbalists' library.

Note: I received this book as an ARC. It is scheduled to be released May 13, 2025.
