[Review] Howl's Moving Castle (Howl's Castle, book 1) (1986) by Diana Wynne Jones

When it comes to books, this one is my guilty pleasure. It is my all time favorite book. It has everything that I love: whimsy, magic, intrigue, self-discovery, humor, anthropomorphic houses, and a happily-ever-after ending.

The worldbuilding is stellar. The characters are all unique. It is even fast paced, while still retaining all of the lush and vivid details that make the story so gloriously visual.

For me, this book is the epitome of storytelling. An absolutely magical delight.
