[Review] When the Moon Hatched (Moonfall, book 1) by Sarah A. Parker

Oh, how I loved this book! I'll be honest: the beginning is a challenge. It throws a lot of information at you, making for a confusing start. The ending is also an abrupt cliffhanger that offers no immediate resolutions. But the reading experience packed between those two points is so breathtakingly good that it earns all five stars from me.

Once the story finds its footing, it is completely immersive. The worldbuilding is fantastic, and the characters are fully developed with incredible depth—especially the fierce main character. The romance is compelling and swoon-worthy, and I found myself voraciously consuming every single word.

This book is sharp, compelling, and utterly spellbinding. The frustrating ending is simply a testament to how invested I became in the story and its characters. I am already waiting for the next installment.
