[Review] The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett (1911)

A childhood favorite. I pick this book up every now and then, for nostalgia's sake. And I love it ever time I read it.

This book is a dazzling celebration of nature and a testament to the power of positive thinking. No other book has instilled me with such a strong desire to go outside and to bask in the glory of nature. This book is part of the reason I took up gardening as a kid and still continue with it to this day.

Sweet, pastoral, and inspirational. This book always fills me with wonder; and the end still brings tears to my eyes. A fantastic childhood classic.
