What a lovely and delightful read. I was absolutely entranced by this book. Great worldbuilding and wonderful characters—each quirky and unique. The characters' personalities and their interactions with each other felt playful, but also very organic.
The plot was compelling. And I adored the way faerie land bled and wove into the real world. The integration of the two realms felt seamless and a bit awe inspiring.
Magic, adventure, and whimsy. Diana Wynne Jones continues to remain one of my favorite authors.
